How it works

Thames Home Choice  work to to provide homes for existing tenants who wish to move between Abri and Housing Solutions. Abri also offers sheltered properties for out of area residents who wish to move into sheltered housing.

If you are an existing tenant interested in moving, you need to register so we can determine your housing need and check if you are eligible for a transfer.
Available homes to rent are advertised on this website. You can see what properties are available and ‘bid’ to tell us which ones you like.  Once the bidding cycle for a property has finished, all bidders will then be shortlisted in order of band priority and date that priority was received.

Abri and Housing Solutions then decide who to offer the property to, based upon your  housing providers  allocations  policy.  They will contact the successful applicant, check they still qualify, and discuss the offer of accommodation.
